What the Sexual Health Package includes
- Specialist consultation
- Confidential discussion of symptoms and sexual health history
- Assessment of risk factors and appropriate testing
- Time to ask questions in a non-judgemental setting
- Comprehensive swab testing – Swabs are taken to test for:
- Chlamydia
- Neisseria gonorrhoeae
- Mycoplasma
- Ureaplasma
- Trichomonas
- Gardnerella
- Herpes Simplex Virus (HSV)
Testing is performed sensitively and efficiently, with minimal discomfort.
Results, treatment and follow-up
- Your Gynaecologist will review and interpret all results
- You will be advised how and when results will be communicated
- Treatment will be arranged promptly if required
- Partner notification advice will be provided where appropriate
Prescriptions may be issued during your consultation or once results are available.
