Our story
Who we are
Westminster Women’s Clinic was established in 2021 by Founder Miss Jess McMicking, initially offering private tailored maternity packages for women delivering at the Westminster Maternity Suite.
Today, the clinic has since grown to provide a wider scope of women’s healthcare services, while maintaining its original ethos of personalised, consultant-led care.
Our founder
Miss Jess McMicking is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist providing private maternity care in London, alongside her NHS role at Guy’s and St Thomas’ Hospital. She trained in Sydney, Australia, where she gained experience in advanced maternity services and developed a broad, international perspective on women’s health.
Jess is recognised for her specialist expertise in high-risk obstetrics and her focus on nutritional care during pregnancy. Her dual experience in both the public and private healthcare sectors positions her uniquely to deliver evidence-based, compassionate care tailored to each patient.
Our mission and values
Inspired by both her Australian colleagues and the many patients she has cared for, Jess founded Westminster Women’s Clinic with the mission of bringing together a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic, outstanding women’s healthcare.

Our journey
In Spring 2024, Westminster Women’s Clinic opened its first physical private women’s health clinic in West London. The new premises were created as an integrated hub for women’s healthcare, bringing together every stage of the family journey under one roof.
Patients can now access preconception advice and fertility support, private gynaecology consultations and treatments, tailored private maternity care, and postnatal care for both mother and baby. This expansion reflects Jess’s vision of combining the best of modern medical facilities with compassionate, consultant-led care.
Our heritage
The clinic building itself is steeped in medical history. It was home to an Infant Welfare Centre from 1934, before serving for several decades as a local GP surgery for the Chelsea community.
Ahead of opening our private women’s health clinic in 2024, the site underwent a comprehensive refurbishment. While modern facilities were added, the building’s historic character and connection to community healthcare have been carefully preserved, continuing its legacy of serving families in West London.
