Dr Nina Bjurstrom is an experienced General Practitioner with a special interest in dermatology and women’s health. She brings over a decade of clinical experience from both Australia and the UK, with a strong focus on providing personalised care for patients.

Dr Bjurstrom holds a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) (Dean’s Commendation for High Achievement) from the University of Queensland and is a member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). She has a Bachelor of Science (in the field of Biomedical Science) and a Bachelor of Journalism. She is registered with the General Medical Council. She is proud to be a member of the Westminster Women’s Clinic, as well as continuing her work as an NHS GP at surgeries in south west London and a local University campus.

Dr Bjurstrom developed a love for dermatology while working in Brisbane and the Australian outback. She has a Postgraduate Diploma in Practical Dermatology with distinction and is linked in with local secondary care teams. She has additional qualifications in dermoscopy, a tool used for review of skin lesions and rashes. She treats all skin conditions and her clinical interest areas include Rosacea, Acne, Pigmentation, Eczema and mole checks. She is passionate about providing holistic care, improving general skin health and nutrition.

Dedicated and caring, she is known for her warm communication style and her commitment to getting the best possible outcomes for patients. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and three sons, fell walking in the Lake District and baking cinnamon buns.
