Miss Linda Farahani is an experienced consultant Gynaecologist and specialist in Reproductive Medicine. She has a specialist interest in the management of subfertility, recurrent pregnancy loss, PCOS, premature ovarian insufficiency (POI) and other menstrual irregularities.
Linda treats women with a wide range of gynaecological conditions including endometriosis, pelvic pain, early pregnancy complications and menopause. She is an expert in gynaecological ultrasound and can also provide follicle tracking scans, HyCoSy and saline scans and early pregnancy scans. Linda also offers fertility health check-up, a Well Woman check, family planning, recurrent pregnancy loss assessment, and early pregnancy assessment.
Linda completed her undergraduate medical degree at Imperial College School of Medicine, and RCOG obstetric and gynaecology training in 2016. Linda then attained two senior fellowship posts which included an 18-month fellowship in gynaecological and early pregnancy ultrasound at Kings College Hospital in 2015, one of the leading centres for gynaecological ultrasound in the UK. Linda then completed a 3 year fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and IVF at Imperial College NHS Healthcare Trust in 2020. She is due to complete her medical doctorate in 2024 on the impact of sperm quality and the semen microbiome on fertility outcomes and specifically in recurrent pregnancy loss.
Because of this specialist training, Dr Linda Farahani is highly experienced in the management of women experiencing a wide range of gynaecological conditions including subfertility, menstrual problems including PCOS and amenorrhoea, and pelvic pain/discharge. She can offer a number of fertility treatments including follicle tracking and ovulation induction, as well as more specialised treatments such as IUI and IVF.
Linda is passionate about women’s health education and will voluntarily speak at events and on panels to provide support and education. She is an ambassador for the Endometriosis Foundation and recently spoke to the All Party Parliamentary Group for Endometriosis, campaigning for funding for egg freezing for women with severe endometriosis.
