Pelvic Health Physiotherapy Initial Appointment
To support you with any bladder, bowel or sexual symptoms you might be struggling with.
Pregnancy MOT
To screen for any symptoms, assess and inform you about how to do pelvic floor exercises correctly and provide support on how to prepare for birth.
Postnatal/Mummy MOT
From 6 weeks postpartum to assess your abdominal muscles, pelvic floor muscles, scar tissue and give personalised guidance on return to exercise and activity.
Scar Support
Initial assessment and subsequent treatment with Lymphatouch device to aid scar recovery.
Menopause MOT
Focused on assessment of any bladder, bowel or sexual symptoms, as well as support you to be proactive about your pelvic health during menopause and beyond.
Pessary Fitting
A vaginal pessary is used to help pelvic organ prolapse. This 60-90 minute hour appointment includes thorough assessment, fitting and education on pessary use.
Physio-to-Physio Pessary Fitting Referral
We accept referrals from other Pelvic Health Physiotherapists or health care professionals who do not fit pessaries. We will work alongside you to support your patient.
Pessary Replacement Service
If you have had a pessary fitted at another clinic or in the NHS, we can offer you support with replacement or ongoing management.
Initial appointments are 60 minutes in length, with 30 minute follow-up appointments as advised by your physiotherapist, however if you prefer a longer appointment, please speak to one of our friendly team.
